Three years after the previous album "Za vodou" (2022), with which the legendary band Dunaj confirmed its return to the stage after a twenty-four-year break, it now comes with a new album recorded with singer Jana Vébrová. Her last solo album "Kameny ze dna" (2023) received favorable reviews and a pre-nomination for the Anděl Awards, just like the Dunaj album "Za vodou" a year earlier. The eight new songs on the album "Mňau" are signed by all members of the Dunaj band, namely Vladimír Václavek, Josef Ostřanský and Pavel Koudelka, together with Jana Vébrová. Jana Vébrová collaborated on most of her lyrics with writer Radek Malý, two lyrics come from Karel David, a favorite lyricist and long-time companion of the Dunaj band, and one from Vladimír Václavek.

With the album "Mňau", the band continues its previous collaboration with producer Petr Ostrouchov and the Animal Music publishing house. The group Dunaj has been flowing through the Czech music scene for the fourth decade. It is one of its fundamental pillars and for many artists and listeners across generations their songs are absolutely iconic. The current Dunaj consists of a trio of original members: Vladimír Václavek, Josef Ostřanský and Pavel Koudelka, supplemented by singer Jana Vébrová. With the album "Za vodou" (2022), which was the first recording after 24 years that have passed since the sudden death of singer and frontman Jiří Kolšovský, and on which former member Iva Bittová also guested, the band returned to the scene and to playlists and began a new period of Dunaj for the 21st century. The album "Mňau" is another milestone on the path of Dunaj.
