NEW RELEASE: Music from the film MARKETA LAZAROVA on CD and WAV

Animal Music in co-production with Strings of Autumn international music festival releases a recording of the historically first concert performance of the score to Frantisek Vlacil's film MARKETA LAZAROVA that took place in October 2015 at the Strings of Autumn music festival. Drawing on a detailed study of the soundtrack, film composer Petr Ostrouchov arranged the music from the Zdeněk LIška's manuscript score creating a feature-length oratorio for choir (Martinů Voices), eighteen-piece instrumental ensemble (Baborák Ensemble), and solo voice (Kateřina Kněžíková, Josef Moravec) and acting ((Jana Štěpánková, Josef Somr, Anna Kratochvílová)   

The album is released as a double-CD with an extensive booklet and exclusively in our online store also in hi-res digital format WAV.
