Like their previous album, “Metamorphosis”, the fourth studio record by Vertigo is a compact, conceptual whole. Entitled TAJ, it consists of a set of songs which give the impression of a homogeneous composition in nine parts of varying moods. The compositions as well as performance by Vertigo’s members are as unconventional as ever before. In their unpredictability, originality, and authenticity, however, they manage to push the expectations and the boundaries of form and content of musical expression still a little further. 
The album was nominated for the “Anděl” Award in the Jazz&Blues category.
