Czech Radio Jazz Poll

Three of our jazz albums released last year spotted the top 3 ranks in the Czech Radio Jazz poll! The winner is pianist Nikol Bokova, Czech jazz rising star, with her third studio album Prometheus. The second place goes to modern jazz trio Treetop and their eponymous debut album Treetop. Pianist Tomáš Sýkora and his symphonical jazz album Songs for Orchestra ended up on the bronze place. Congrats!

Nikol Bokova´s Prometheus is also nominated for the Czech Music Academy Awards in the jazz category together with Dorota Barova´s album Dotyk. Three nominations go to Vladimir Misik and his Noční obraz (Night Image) for the allbum of the year, best male solo artist and best folk album. The ceremony takes place on the 27th April 2022 in Prague.
